Stations of the Cross:
Fridays in Lent
The Stations of the Cross, also referred to as the Way of the Cross, is a familiar devotion in the Catholic tradition of piety. As practiced today, the Stations represent 14 events experienced by Jesus as he walked to his place of execution at Calvary. This Lent, the Stations of the Cross are observed each week on Friday afternoons at 12:30 PM in Immaculate Conception Church and evenings at 7:00 PM, alternating between our two churches.

Parish Lenten Practices
Lenten Coins for Nicaragua
As you may know, our parish and school communities assist a sister parish in Old Managua, Nicaragua. The Parish of Cristo Agonizante del Rosario is often in need of school supplies and daily necessities for the students and families in that parish.
Consider taking a “Lenten Coins for Nicaragua” mite box for your family. As you sacrifice something in your own home during Lent, i.e., a dinner out, donate those funds to the box. Return it at the end of Lent, and we’ll be sure your donation gets to the family in need. If we run out of boxes, please use a baggie or any receptacle and get the whole family involved.
Thank you for your generosity!
Collection of Old Palm:
Until March 14th
Our parish will be collecting blessed Palm from previous years, until the Fourth Sunday of Lent (March 14th). Please return the Palm to the receptacles near the entrances of our two churches.
This Palm is burned into the ashes that are used during Ash Wednesday. Help share in this beautiful practice of the Lenten season.
This weekend, the parish will be giving out missalettes, which contain the antiphons and prayers for daily Mass as well as the readings and prayers for Sunday Mass. There are a limited number of these books so please only take one book per family. This book will be yours to keep so please take it home with you and bring it with you as you come to Mass. If you know anyone who is viewing Mass through livestream and who would appreciate one, please take one for them. The song sheets, which are printed weekly for Sunday Masses, will still be used.
*If any missalettes that have been given out are left behind, the books will have to be thrown away due to public health guidelines. Please be mindful to keep them on your person.*
