Jesse Tree Gift Collection:
Gift Labels Available this Weekend
The Jesse Tree gift collection for those in need will again encompass both churches. Recipients of these gifts include: battered women, unwed mothers, families in transition and need, children and grandchildren of prisoners, the homeless, as well as children and young adults with special needs and life-threatening illnesses. Their ages range from the unborn to the elderly.
Each label represents a special gift and there are reasons behind each request. No gift should be assumed to be frivolous as the recipients are always very grateful.
Please take at least one gift label. Each new, wrapped gift should be returned with the label attached and placed by the Jesse Tree at the designated area of each church. Gifts can be dropped off anytime, but the last day for collection Is Dec. 15.

Saint John Paul II Men’s Group
Join Us Thursday, Nov 21
at 7:30 PM, Lower Church
All men 18 and over are invited to join our new Pope St. John Paul II Men’s Group. This ministry will provide a forum for men who desire to increase their knowledge and love of God and the Catholic faith.
is to form a vibrant fellowship for education, mutual support, encouragement, and growth, and to engage in informal, round-table discussions about the challenges encountered in applying our rich and beautiful Catholic faith in the secular culture in which we live. We will discuss sacred Scripture, Church history and teachings, the lives of the Saints and so much more. We will see where the Holy Spirit leads us.
Our hope is to meet
twice a month on Thursday evenings
. All parish men are welcome.
To attend or questions contact Paul Reisman at
or at (917) 848-3018.
